Online news portals have been skyrocketing in Nepal with the advent of internet. They provide fast, efficient, and convenient means of communication to the audience in the digital platform. It's true that we don't have patience to check the print newspaper early in the morning with sip of tea. Thus online newspapers play an important role in delivering the news quickly and almost instantly after any event have happened. Online news portals now can be found in most of the local government due to which even the tiniest news happening in nook and corners of the country has been able to surface in the digital form. Here we shall discuss about few suggestions to the online news portals to make them more formal and systematic means of online communication.

Editing: Editing plays a key role in written communication to convey the meaning

to the readers following the syntaxes of grammar and literature. If we see the present context of Nepal, then in most of the news portals, we can find poor editing of languages with errors seen in linguistics section and grammar.
