Broken Silence

Views:

Let me count the ways,
to tell you a lullaby
for your head resting in my shoulder
grasped lightly by arms.
Let me gently kiss your hairs
on your head
beneat my caressing cheeks
and let me find ways
to whisper in your ears
"Let the silence be the melody
to let you sleep
by caring you as a child"
and by my lullaby
I shall break the silence
to be your's melody.
Did I counted the ways,
Alas! I didn't
and Neither will my voice
ever disturb your sleep.
