What are five of the major issues of education in Nepal? Explain in detail, and provide solutions to two of the issues addressing what the responsible parties as well as you can do about it.

The five major issues in education in Nepal are:
1. Geographical Issues:  Nepal has geographically diverse region making education difficult in himalayan and hilly region.

2. Language Issues: In Government schools nepali is the language medium in which teacher teaches students, where as in private schools english language is the medium of teaching. That has created difficulties in learning for students who pass out class 10 from government school especially in their 10+2 level where most of curriculum is in English language.

3. Lack of adequate manpower: Teaching sector still lacks adequate manpower who are skilled in teching activities.

4. Lack of use of Digital Means: World is advancing with the use of digital means in education whereas nepal still lacks in using digital medium such as projectors and presentations  in teaching activities.

5. Lack of formulation of academic calender: In Nepal, academic calender is not followed properly. System of maintaining a proper academic calender for routinely works in education has not been taken seriously.

Among these five issues, for geographical issues, academic institutions should be established in every nook and corner of nation. That would prevent migration of students for higher level education and higher level education would be accessible in local levels as well. 
For language issues, in government schools too english language should be taught as a second language as books and materials written in english language are more available. Similarly translation of scholarly works in nepali language can be done to promote nepali language in academic subjects.
