Testimony

He never relied on mirror
to check his appearence
then find
how anyone would see him.
Appearence depends upon
the eyes of the perceiver.
For him,
mirror gives the silent
and voiceless testimony
of physical looks of oneself
to be judged by the very same self
who looks in the mirror.
a testimony of reflection.
